Chapter 2 Using the Hardware

When FormCaching is enabled, a data le named FORM.DAT will be created in the

HT580. FORM.DAT stores the data as entered by the user when using the

FormCaching program. The HT580 will not allow the user to redene the data elds in

FormCaching once the FORM.DAT has been created. The le FORM.DAT must be

deleted in order to implement any change in the conguration of FormCaching.

Running FormCaching

The HT580 bu

ilt-in application FormCaching can be run from the main menu by

selecting the terminal option, then selecting 2. Formcaching. The FormCaching

application will follow the prompt settings previously dened by the user to request

input, and stores the data in the FORM.DAT le.
